What to Do Before You Ask for a Truck Valuation

A quick prep list that makes sure the price we give you on the phone matches what happens on-site.

You don't need to polish the truck, but five minutes of prep makes the valuation smoother. Grab the build plate details, note the odometer, and think about any recent work on the engine or gearbox.

If the truck runs, check for warning lights and list any known issues: clutch slip, air leaks, dash codes, or cooling problems. This helps us price it honestly instead of guessing worst-case.

Take photos in daylight: front, rear, both sides, interior, compliance plate, odometer, engine bay, and any damage. Blurry night shots slow things down because we have to ask again.

If finance is owing, tell us up front. We can pay out the balance and send you the remittance on the spot so there's a clean transfer.
